# Open-source access

> Free reviews and app access for eligible public projects

Eligible public open-source projects receive Veridical reviews and app access
without a payment card.

## Eligibility

A repository must:

* be public;
* use an eligible open-source license, or receive manual approval;
* be installed through the Veridical GitHub App;
* use the service for pull-request review rather than unrelated computation.

Eligibility may be rechecked when repository visibility, license, ownership, or
usage changes.

## Allowance and fair use

The current allowance is up to 50 reviews per day per approved project, subject
to pull-request size, concurrency, abuse protection, and available service
capacity. It is intentionally generous, not unlimited.

Review activity is visible in Veridical, including status, coverage, GitHub links,
and whether maintainers acted on published findings. Provider cost and internal
routing telemetry remain founder-only.

We may pause or revoke access for generated-volume abuse, crypto-mining, unrelated
compute, attempts to evade limits, or risk to other projects. A normal large pull
request is not abuse; it may simply take longer or require an explicit scope decision.

Apply from the repository page in Veridical. We review applications within 24
hours. If automated license evidence is incomplete, a maintainer can ask for a
manual decision.
